Chalkhill Estate is located in the Wembley Park area of northwest London. It was one of three large estates built in the London Borough of Brent. The design was based on that of Park Hill in Sheffield. The beauty that this state provides comfort to the residence in the area. It provides flats, shops, a medical centre, car parking and open space that makes it convenient for everybody. Every morning there are assigned person to clean the area and groom the surrounding. Chalkhill Estate also contained a number of recreational facilities for children and the elderly almost at every corner such as slides, seating areas with flower beds, climbing frames and other such things you would expect to find in a public park.
One of the favorite resident in the estate is Lady Sovereign. She is a very witty and smart girl with a very beautiful voice that makes her very noticeable in the area. She grew up in a family who loves music and has passion for artistry. Influenced by her mother’s album she began writing her own music at 14 years old. She was very active in joining musical play in our school and will always get the lead role. People in the estate began to notice her talent that she becomes more popular while growing up. I remember how she perform with sincerity and love during our class presentation. I can see how passionate she is in the field of music that is why I was not shocked when she dropped out from school 2 years later.
Lady Sovereign devoted her life doing what she love. She faced the music world with fierce and strong will to succeed. Her parents supported her throughout her music career and even provided everything that she needs. She had a very bumpy road along the way but she did not stop. She keeps going to look for greater opportunity. One day, her parents visited me and told me about how she landed an acting gig for a film shortly after performing in an audition contest. Her parents were very proud of her and I was really happy for her. I treated her not just my student but like my own daughter. We shared wonderful moments while she was young and I supported her in every milestone that she achieved in her life. Later that year, she was offered a contract with Def Jam and released her full debit in 2006.
